Dean White one of our apprentice Air Conditioning Engineers employed at our Strood Office, was presented with the Harry Decker 2005 Award at a presentation held at the HVCA Annual General Meeting at the Royal Aeronautical Society in London on Thursday 21st April 2005.

At the same meeting Airconaire were awarded an Engraved HVCA Shield of Excellence for their Modern Apprentice Training Scheme.

This is the third time in seven years that Airconaire have received this award.

Project Details:

This project consisted of the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the mechanical services. The scheme consisted of the following elements: -: -

• Strip-out and removal of redundant ductwork and pipework.
• Installation of new VAV Units to suit the new configuration.
• Installation of LTHW and Chilled Water Services.
• Installation of new primary and secondary ductwork.
• Removal, modification and installation of new and existing controls to re-configure the existing BMS system.
• Installation of Hot and Cold Water Services .
• Test and Commissioning.

VALUE: £3900.00

Project Details:

This project consisted of the Supply Installation and Commissioning of a Mitsubishi R410A Stainless Steel Ceiling Suspended System.

This system was selected as the indoor unit external casing is manufactured from durable stainless steel that is resistant to oil and smoke ensuring that the unit can be easily cleaned at all times.

Project Details:

This project consisted of the Design, Supply, Installation, Test and Commission of the mechanical services & sprinkler system installation. The Clients design demands for energy efficiency saw the installation of heat recovery air conditioning & ventilation systems. Air conditioning the outlet initially was a problem as the site has no external areas to locate heat rejection plant, however Airconaire overcame the problem by designing a water cooled variable refrigerant flow air conditioning system, which made use of the base build condenser water circuit. Works to the area have encompassed the following elements: -

• Air Conditioning – VRF Water Cooled Variable Refrigerant Flow System.
• Dedicated Comm's Room Cooling.
• Heat Recovery Ventilation System
• Acoustics.
• Warm Air Curtain Heating.
• Public Health Services.
• Controls.
